A Low-Tox, Light-Filled Home

After renting this home, our clients purchase the place they’d called home for so long and were ready to make it their own. We helped them reenvison both the interior layout and exterior design to better suit their growing family. The original floor plan felt segmented so we removed the dividing wall between the kitchen and living area to create a more open, connected flow. Natural light now moves freely through the heart of the home, highlighting the soft palate, custom white oak details, and handcrafted zellige tile that bring warmth and personality to the space.

Outside, the home got a subtle but impactful facelift with lime-washed brick and a new solid wood front Dutch door that nods to its original charm. We prioritized zero VOC materials throughout, using EOC (Environmental Odor Control) paint and thoughtful finishes that support both beauty and well-being. What was once a rental is now a light-filled, deeply personal space designed for everyday life.
