Our 2022 Remodeling Project Highlights

It's the start of a new year and the perfect time to think about how you want your home to feel. While we're proud of every project we work on, 2022 held some highlights that are too good not to share. We hope these inspire you with your next remodeling project.

A sophisticated organic kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of a home, and our client wanted to ensure that theirs reflected their current needs and interests. They’re empty nesters who still live in the house they raised their kids in. The modern aesthetic was important in this remodel, but they also wanted to maintain warmth in this space by incorporating natural materials like wood and rich textured fabrics.

Our goal was to maximize form while maintaining function so they could use it simultaneously—while cooking meals or entertaining guests. Our clients originally wanted us to upgrade their existing cabinets, but we took a chance by suggesting a full redo, and they ended up loving it. We created dedicated zones, including a coffee station with multiple electrical outlets; an island with seating to enjoy easy access to prep work; separate areas for food prep; and ample storage space below and above cabinets.

A bold and beachy kitchen

The bold tile backsplash is the first thing you notice when entering our client's new kitchen. It’s a unique choice that makes an impact and brings together the room in its beachy feel. The boldness continues into the dedicated dining area and living room, which feature a signature blue for continuity.

Color was just the beginning when it came to our design choices for this project. We also reconfigured the layout and added some extra natural light through a new window letting in even more natural light than before. This space feels more airy, open, and bright—and since these trends have been going strong for years now, we think they'll stay trending for years to come.

A stunning bathroom

You may be familiar with our work in this client's kitchen, but did you know that we also remodeled their bathroom? It's a stunning space, and it might be of inspiration for your next project.

The first thing to notice when walking into this tranquil retreat is how simple the design appears at first glance. There are clean lines throughout, yet subtle details like tile placement add visual interest without being overwhelming. The tub creates a functional, visual focal point.

The modern simplicity of the space puts you at ease the moment you step into the room. Consider being inspired by this picture-perfect abode for your next bathroom renovation project.

An energetically efficient kitchen

Don't underestimate this kitchen's small footprint: It packs a punch in style and function.

Our goal was to make the kitchen enjoyable everywhere you looked. From a farmhouse sink to mix-match tiles to open shelving, there's something to love in every corner. For dimension, we incorporated blue gradients—in the light fixtures, seating, tiles, and cabinets—that bring this efficient space to life.

The takeaway from this modern space? Small risks have a big payoff.

Your home is a reflection of you, and we hope our 2022 highlights provide inspiration. Whether you're incorporating more color or reworking layouts, make 2023 your year to live in a space you love.
