Celebrating New Beginnings: A Day at Custom Design and Construction's Open House

On a sunny Saturday, October 21st, 2023, Custom Design and Construction opened its doors to celebrate its new space at 160 S. Pacific Coast Highway, El Segundo, marking a day filled with learning, networking, and community engagement. The day was split into two parts: a 'Remodeling 101' workshop in the morning followed by a lively open house in the afternoon.

The morning kicked off with our 'Remodeling 101' workshop, an interactive and engaging session for those curious about the nuts and bolts of remodeling. From 10am to 12pm, our experts shared their know-how, offering a down-to-earth, practical approach to transforming spaces. It wasn't just about the technical side of things; it was about sharing a love for creating something special in your home.

As noon approached, the atmosphere shifted to a more relaxed and celebratory mood. The open house, running from 12pm to 3pm, had delicious food from Richeeze and King Kone food trucks, refreshing drinks, and lively conversations. It was an opportunity for attendees to meet the team behind Custom Design and Construction, and to build connections that go beyond mere business interactions.

A special aspect of the event was the underlying theme of community contribution. As a token of appreciation, guests received thank you cards announcing a $10 donation made on their behalf to PAWSLA, a noble cause supporting low-income seniors in caring for their pets.

The event was more than just a showcase of Custom Design and Construction’s capabilities; it was a testament to their values and vision. It was a day where every guest left with a deeper understanding of remodeling, a sense of belonging to a larger community, and perhaps most importantly, a feeling of having contributed to a cause greater than themselves.

Custom Design and Construction's open house was not just a celebration of a new space. It was a demonstration of their ethos - blending design, education, community, and compassion into a memorable experience that resonates with everyone involved.
